앱 소개

치아달력은 한국의 치과의사이자 안코치스튜디오 대표인 안인균이 아이를 키우며 직접 기획·개발한 부모용 무료 앱입니다. 아이 생일(또는 출산 예정일)만 한 번 넣으면 임신 초기부터 만 18세까지, 그 시기에 꼭 알아야 할 치과 정보를 한 달 전에 한 번, 그 시기에 한 번 더 알려 줍니다. 앱 안의 글 78편은 모두 안 대표가 국내외 진료 지침과 최신 연구를 대조해 직접 검수했고, 글마다 출처를 밝혔습니다.

만든 이유

치과의사인 안 대표도 막상 육아를 시작하니 아이 이가 언제 나는지, 첫 치과는 언제 가야 하는지, 불소치약은 얼마나 써야 하는지 제때 챙기기가 쉽지 않았습니다. 그래서 필요한 정보가 필요한 때에 먼저 찾아오는 앱을 만들었습니다. 적어도 아이 치아에 관해서만큼은 부모가 따로 찾아보고 기억해 둘 필요가 없도록 하는 것이 목표입니다.

안인균 대표의 말

“치과의사인데도 막상 아이를 키워 보니 이가 언제 나는지, 첫 치과는 언제 가야 하는지 제때 챙기기가 쉽지 않았어요.”

“부모님이 따로 찾아보지 않아도 되도록, 필요한 정보가 그 시기에 먼저 찾아가게 만들었습니다. 적어도 아이 치아만큼은 앱 하나로 충분하셨으면 좋겠어요.”

About the app

Tooth Calendar: Kids' Teeth is a free app for parents, designed and built by Ingyoon An, a practicing dentist in South Korea and founder of Ancoach Studio, after becoming a parent. Enter a birth date or due date once, and the app tells you what matters for your child's teeth at each stage, from early pregnancy to age 18: once a month ahead, and again when the time comes. All 78 illustrated articles were personally reviewed by An against current clinical guidelines and research, with sources listed in every article.

Why it was made

Even with clinical training, An found it hard to keep track of what a baby's teeth need, and when, in the middle of everyday parenting: when the first tooth comes in, when to book the first dental visit, how much fluoride toothpaste to use. So An built an app where the right information finds parents at the right time. The goal: at least for their child's teeth, parents never have to search or remember on their own.
